ATICO STUDY: OCTOBER 2022 NEWSLETTER

ATICO Research Newsletter | October 2022

Thank you for participating in our Active Transportation Injury Circumstances and Outcome Study (ATICO)!

It’s already fall and winter is coming up! I hope everyone is staying cozy and warm. As we are entering the slippery season, we hope that you are staying safe and recovering well from your injuries.

Thank you for your patience. We have many updates since our last newsletter in August.

We are happy to announce that we have now launched our recruitment at following hospital sites: St. Paul’s Hospital (SPH), Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH) and Royal Columbian Hospital (RCH). With the new expansion, we hope to examine diverse injury circumstances and infrastructure.

Recruitment at VGH began on January 24th, SPH on September 20th, SMH on September 27th, and RCH on October 18th. Please see below for the research progress as of September 31st, 2022 for VGH (422) and SPH (31). SMH and RCH will be updated in next month’s newsletter.
